rangeX is Koch-Licht's solution space for connection and control technology. At its heart is the Smart-Link system: a compact, modular kit of LED driver, control modules, wireless sensors and control element – tailored to the requirements of modern furniture and interior lighting.
Whether automatic switching when a door is opened, contactless dimming with a wave of the hand or convenient control via app: with rangeX, lighting control grows with your project – stand-alone or fully networked.
For integration into existing smart home systems, the rangeX Zigbee Multi Controllers and the Zigbee remote control complete the range – compatible with Philips Hue, Amazon Alexa and other Zigbee 3.0 bridges.
Smart-Link.
The core of the system is the Smart-Link LED Driver: a slim 12 volt transformer with an integrated 6-way distributor, developed for international use at 120–240 volts. It can be expanded in just a few steps – with the Smart-Link Receiver for wireless control via radio sensors, or with the Smart-Link Dimmer for dimming, color temperature adjustment of CCT luminaires, light scenes and operation via app. The battery-powered sensors are attached magnetically to a self-adhesive mounting plate and charged via USB Type-C – no cable to the sensor is required.
Zigbee.
When furniture lighting is to become part of the smart home, the rangeX Zigbee Multi Controllers come into play. They are connected on the secondary side of the LED driver and communicate via the open wireless standard Zigbee 3.0 – with Philips Hue, Amazon Alexa and other Zigbee bridges. This allows the light to be controlled via app, by voice command or in automations together with the rest of the smart home. The controller is available as a CCT variant for adjustable light color and as a DIM variant for single-color luminaires.
And where there is no bridge: the rangeX Zigbee remote control is paired directly with the controller and controls light, brightness and light color immediately – without additional hardware.
